I Was the Kind of Tired Sleep Can’t Fix

I Was the Kind of Tired Sleep Can’t Fix is a single credited to JD Steel, released on 13 March 2026 with 10067505 Records DK, a distributor's numbered placeholder, on its rights line. The act's own YouTube upload calls it a dark country rap confessional about burnout and the silent battles people carry that nobody else sees, describing the feeling of being mentally and emotionally worn down while still finding the strength to keep going, and pitching it at listeners who feel the weight of the world on their chest. Its auto-generated Topic upload has drawn tens of thousands of views. The Spotify recording runs 3 minutes 40 seconds. Deezer marks the release as AI-generated content, saying it includes tracks detected as generated with the use of AI.
