Hell Was Glad to See Me Go

Hell Was Glad to See Me Go is a single by JD Steel, released on 11 September 2026 and running 2 minutes 57 seconds. Its official audio upload describes trap-rap verses and bluesy sung choruses telling the story of a man the devil expected to break, who instead turned out to be bad for business below by helping other people back onto their feet; the bridge turns personal, reaching back to anyone still fighting. The upload repeats the act's line that AI is the studio and JD is the storyteller, and Deezer tags the release as AI-generated content, detected as made with the use of AI. JD Steel is a persona whose voice is built from its creator JD's own recorded singing. The track was self-released by JD Steel Music LLC through DistroKid.
