You Miss What I Did for You

You Miss What I Did for You is a JD Steel single released on 8 September 2026, running 3 minutes 18 seconds. The act's own YouTube upload calls it a country rap breakup song: an ex says she misses him, and the narrator realises that what she actually misses is his loyalty, the comfort he gave and the way he always turned up, with trap verses setting out the facts and a bluesy chorus carrying the feeling. It is aimed at anyone who gave everything and still had to ask for the bare minimum. Deezer marks the release as AI-generated content, noting it includes tracks detected as made with the use of AI. It was self-released by JD Steel Music LLC through DistroKid; YouTube's auto-generated Topic upload of the same track lists JD Steel on guitar and John Doles as studio producer.
