Chill77

Chill77 is a music act on Spotify credited as a co-artist on the viral "Papaoutai (Afro Soul)", an AI-generated cover of Stromae's "Papaoutai", and as the solo artist on follow-up Afro Soul singles. Wikipedia describes the credited names behind the cover as Swedish producers, and the track was released through the Swedish label Unjaps AB on 20 December 2025. No page read states who is behind the name Chill77 or where the act is based.

Spotify's artist page carries no "AI Persona" label, so aipopdb keeps the act as Human. The cover itself is openly AI-made: the other credited artist, Mikael "mikeeysmind" Daghighi of Gothenburg, told TV4 Nyheter that the instrumental is largely non-AI and that AI was used for the voice. The pages read do not describe Chill77's own part in the production.

The act's catalogue is short. "Papaoutai (Afro Soul)" (2025, with mikeeysmind and Unjaps) was uploaded to YouTube on 9 January 2026, debuted at No. 2 on Billboard's World Digital Song Sales and was reported at 29th on Spotify's global chart. It was followed by the singles "Lionceau (Afro Soul)" and "Mon Avenir" in 2026. Spotify's contact details for the page list Chill77's own address alongside those of Unjaps and Divora Records.

On 15 October 2026 Spotify showed 4,203,861 monthly listeners for the act, with "Papaoutai - Afro Soul" at about 205.8 million plays, "Lionceau - Afro Soul" at about 8.8 million and "Mon Avenir" at about 2.9 million. The cover drew press attention and a disclosure dispute when a singer lip-synced to the AI vocals without saying they were artificial.
