About this song
"Bourbon Borderline" is a JD Steel song posted as an official audio upload on the act's YouTube channel on 15 September 2026. The description follows the narrator through a quiet night at home with a drink, watching for the moment an old mistake starts to sound like a good idea: replaying a shared song, remembering only the good parts, and nearly texting an ex. It mixes country-trap verses with a bluesy chorus and some humour, and the description calls it a song about catching yourself before loneliness gets hold of your phone. JD Steel is described there as a country-music persona created and directed by JD, with AI serving as studio, band, producer and visual tool, and the release credited to JD Steel Music LLC. No Spotify release of the song was found. When read on 4 October 2026 it had 659 YouTube views.
