I Was Good to You at My Worst

I Was Good to You at My Worst is a single by JD Steel, released on 21 September 2026 and running 3 minutes 22 seconds. The official YouTube upload, billed as country trap and blues, describes a man looking back at a relationship he could not hold together, remembering both the times he showed up and the apologies he left too late, and asking that the good be counted too; it sets a deep country-trap beat under a bluesy sung chorus. JD Steel is a persona whose channel says its vocals come from its creator JD's recorded voice, with AI as studio, band and producer. Deezer tags the release AI-generated content. It was self-released under JD Steel Music LLC.
