If Only You Knew (Life Lessons)

"If Only You Knew (Life Lessons)" is a 2025 single by Xania Monet, the AI-made R&B singer whose music pairs human-written poetry with generative software. Released on 3 September 2025 and lasting four minutes, it is licensed to Hallwood, the label that signed the act to a multi-million-dollar deal after a bidding war in September 2025. Xania Monet's creator, Mississippi poet Telisha Nikki Jones, is named as the composer on the track's YouTube listing. Coverage describes Xania Monet as the first known AI artiste to earn enough radio airplay to debut on a Billboard radio chart, and says Jones reportedly uses generative software to set her original poems to music. When read, the track had about 4.75 million Spotify plays (scout, 7 October 2026) and its auto-generated YouTube Topic upload had about 6.25 million views.
