Biography
Gabriele Immirzi is a television and film executive who led Fremantle's Italian business for several years. When Fremantle split its Italian operations into three companies from January 2020, he became CEO of Fremantle Italia, the arm that makes entertainment formats, soaps, documentaries and reality shows, while Lorenzo Mieli headed The Apartment and Mario Gianani headed Wildside.
Marco Tombolini joined him as co-CEO of Fremantle Italia in May 2022 and took sole charge in March 2023, when Immirzi became co-CEO of The Apartment Pictures alongside Mieli. He is one of three producers credited for Our Films, with Mieli and Gianani, on Be Brave, Francesco Carrozzini's documentary about Renzo Rosso, which Venice presented in 2026 as made entirely with AI.
