Synopsis
The OmegaMax Conspiracy is a financial thriller based on the real-life Omegapro Ponzi scheme. It follows a global network and a high-stakes operation whose workings slowly come to light, as the film unravels a story of ambition, deception and the pursuit of power in the world of high finance and digital wealth.
The maker's description sets it up as the rise and fall of a financial system that captivated the world, seen from behind the curtain of an empire built on promises. Against that empire stand relentless investigators, whistleblowers and insiders who fight the odds to expose the hidden mechanics of the scheme.
Its themes are triumph and betrayal, and a showdown between those who built the system and those determined to bring it to light. The tone is that of a tense, dramatic exposé of money, influence and the unseen forces behind financial markets.

The OmegaMax Conspiracy is a full-length feature film by Nigerian technology entrepreneur Dr. Ope Banwo, founder of Aiflix360, who produced and directed it. The Sun reported that it premiered on 10 March 2025, and a full cut of about 2 hours 55 minutes was uploaded to the AiFlix360 TV YouTube channel on 17 March 2025. Banwo bills it as the first fully AI-generated feature film in Africa, a claim these pages repeat as his own and the press's.
According to Banwo's statement, as reported by The Sun, the film has no human actors, no physical sets and no manual cinematography. He says AI handled the script, character animation and voiceovers, and the pages do not name the models or tools used. The film was announced together with a 14-track soundtrack album, Omegapro Scandemic, which Banwo says was written, composed, produced, mixed and mastered entirely by AI and was due on Spotify, iTunes, SoundCloud and other platforms in March 2025. The first report gives the track count inconsistently (14 and 114).
Banwo is based in Omaha, Nebraska, and has run business-training and AI-tool ventures; his YouTube appearances include AI business summits. He said the aim was to show that Nollywood-scale stories can be made without expensive sets, actors or studios, and that AI expands human creativity rather than replacing it.
A Sun review described a dreamlike, hyper-realistic look but noted uncanny-valley movement, off lip-sync, stiff dialogue and some oddly structured scenes, and said the film split opinion in the industry: some Nollywood veterans called it a gimmick, others welcomed it as the start of a new era. The review rated it 4 out of 5. On YouTube the film has drawn modest numbers: 207 views when read, with several trailers and prologue cuts on the same channel.
