Synopsis

After three years in prison, Gino returns to the streets of East London determined to track down a fortune stolen from a powerful mob boss. The robbery, carried out on the orders of a small-time crime boss, went badly wrong, and Gino took the fall while the money disappeared.

Now that he is out, everyone wants answers. London has changed: old enemies are more dangerous, loyalties have shifted and nobody can be trusted. Gino fights his way through the criminal underworld, meeting ruthless gangsters, corrupt police, brutal confrontations, unexpected alliances and betrayals.

He is also desperate to reconnect with Tia, the woman he loved before prison, though three years is a long time. As the stakes rise, Gino learns that the key to everything may lie with one mysterious man, Alex. The description promises dark British humour, action and a final twist.

About the Show

Finding Alex is a feature-length British gangster crime thriller from P24 Pictures, listed as a 2026 release with a runtime of 1 hour 27 minutes. The makers' YouTube upload went up on 14 October 2026 and the film is also promoted through the website findingalex.co.uk. It is marked for mature audiences.

The makers describe it as AI-generated: the moving images were created with AI, while the screenplay, creative direction, storytelling and editing are said to be human. The film's site says the script was written by Parham Donyai, and that the faces of Donyai, Mike Joseph and Alice Felix are real people whose likenesses were modelled with AI. Real London locations were researched and scouted, then digitally reimagined. The site says the film was edited in Final Cut Pro.

P24 Pictures says the film was made for under 10,000 pounds in less than one month. The site describes the script as having sat in Donyai's drawer for years because a conventional shoot was too costly, and calls the film the world's first full-length crime thriller made with AI, a claim made by the makers. It also says correcting AI scenes often means regenerating whole sequences, and states that no cast or crew jobs were replaced. The pages read name no specific AI model or tool for generating the footage.

An earlier trailer, titled Finding Alex 2027 Movie Trailer, went up on the makers' channel on 27 September 2026, and the studio has posted clips and character introductions on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube Shorts since early September. The studio's Instagram post of 14 October 2026 says the film was shown on billboards across London. No press coverage, festival entry or awards were found.
