Synopsis
In a near future, a consumer device called the Stopwatch lets anyone end their life at the press of a button, and the film asks what happens to a society when death becomes a convenient choice. It is an anthology of three connected stories set in the world of the corporation behind the device, AltarCorp.
The Rise of AltarCorp follows the company from its beginnings dealing death in U.S. prisons to becoming the richest corporation in the world, one that threatens to bring the human race to an end one button press at a time. The Death of Birth looks beyond the person wearing the device to the damage it does to birth, family, society and the future itself.
The trailers and clips frame the material as a dystopian thriller with a satirical edge, including a live television panel on AltarCorp that takes a dark turn. Its themes are personal autonomy, corporate power, technology, population collapse and the ethics of choice.

Okay, It's Time to Go is a feature-length dystopian anthology thriller written, directed and produced by the British filmmaker Perry Bhandal through his company Kirlian Pictures. Kirlian lists it as a 2026 feature of 1 hour 51 minutes, streaming worldwide on its own platform for a one-off GBP 9.99.
According to Wikipedia, it began in 2024 as a dystopian film project created using generative tools, and was later substantially reworked and expanded into the 2026 feature built around three connected stories in the world of AltarCorp and the Stopwatch. Search coverage describes the earlier version as a series released on Amazon Prime, but the pages read here name no specific AI models or tools.
Bhandal previously made Interview with a Hitman (market premiere at Cannes 2012) and The Last Boy (2017), and wrote the novel The Winter Man. In May 2025 Franceinfo featured him in a piece on generative technology in auteur cinema at Cannes, where he said he can now use effects that would have cost $10 million, and he has called generative tools the most powerful equaliser in cinema history.
Kirlian's page quotes two local-arts figures praising the film. The studio's official trailer on YouTube was uploaded on 1 May 2026 and had about 12,500 views when read.
