About this song
"What Is Going on?" is a single by Kelly Boesch, released in January 2026 by Gelsomina Studios under exclusive licence to Nettwerk Music Group. Boesch says the song is about standing still while the world seems to lift away around you and things that felt solid disappear: confusion, loss, and the quiet moment of deciding to keep going without answers. Its video was an attempt at a more colourful, whimsical surreal style, with intensely coloured desert scenes; the images were made in Midjourney and animated with Veo 3. She wrote the lyrics and the song was made using Suno.
