The Years Between is the ten-track album by the AI-generated blues singer Eddie Dalton, released on 1 April 2026 under a ℗ line naming Vintage Spin Records and running about 37 minutes; Apple Music files it under blues and lists She Don't Stay Long, Cheap Red Wine, Stay a Little Longer, Another Day Old, Running To You, Leave The Light On, Quite Alright, Somewhere Along The Way, Dreaming Of You and Light In The Dark. Wide Open Country reported in April 2026 that the album climbed to number 3 on the iTunes albums chart while the singer, marketed as an ageing American bluesman in the mould of Otis Redding or Marvin Gaye, appeared eleven times in the iTunes Top 100 singles in a single month and Another Day Old reached numbers 2 and 3 on the UK singles chart. The same report identified the project as the work of Dallas Ray Little, a content creator in Greenville, South Carolina, who said every social media video is labelled as AI-generated and that he writes all of the songs, and who objected to the project being described as a content farm. Wide Open Country noted more than 480,000 monthly Spotify listeners and said it was unclear whether all of the engagement was organic.
