The Past Still Calls

"The Past Still Calls" is a soul and blues song by Benny Rivers. Its official music video appeared on the act's YouTube channel on 16 May 2026, and the channel later added a Spanish-language version; the recording was then included on the debut album Where The Hurt Lives, self-released on 19 June 2026, which the act's Apple Music biography says reached Billboard's blues chart. Benny Rivers is a soul and blues persona that its Apple Music biography describes as an AI-generated artist; no page names the person behind it, and its releases carry the act's own name on the rights line. In early October 2026 the Spotify track showed 1,592,110 plays and the official video 352,714 views.
