About this song
"Hold It Right There" is a soul and funk single released on 13 April 2026 by Dumpster Grooves featuring Inez Boone, the project's invented 1970s singer, and billed on YouTube as a remastered 1974 groove. Its description tells of her working small Gulf Coast rooms between Biloxi and Mobile, a history that is part of the fiction. The project describes all of its artists, names and backstories as fictional creations, written and produced by Dumpster Grooves and then enhanced with AI to capture the sound of lost recordings. It is her second single after "You Had It, You Lost It" and is self-released.
