About this song
"CUT THE WIRE" is the debut single of MAVIRA, a virtual gothic-metal artist, released on Spotify on 27 April 2026 on MAVIRA Music. The song is about cutting the connection to pain and letting go of what keeps pulling you back, set to heavy guitars with clean singing and screams. MAVIRA's disclosure describes a human-directed virtual artist project using AI-assisted music and visual tools, with the lyrics, concept and final decisions credited to MAVIRA. A remastered version with a heavier sound went up on its YouTube channel in August 2026. By early October it had about 42,000 Spotify plays.
