Suno has put out Studio 2.0, the biggest step yet in turning its production suite into something close to a full digital audio workstation. It now runs in the browser and adds MIDI import, recording and editing on the timeline.
A simple wavetable synth comes built in, though its main job is to feed MIDI to Suno's generator as a prompt. A session-aware chatbot can suggest lyrics or parts, and users can build their own effects plugins and keep them for later projects. Stem separation has also been upgraded.
The release lands just after Suno began capping monthly downloads. The company says Premier subscribers working in Studio face no export limit on stems or multitracks, and says the redesign came from a year of artist feedback favouring real-time controls and familiar instruments.
