Former Skid Row singer Sebastian Bach, now touring as Twisted Sister's frontman in place of Dee Snider, posted an Instagram video warning fans not to bring AI-generated art for him to sign. He recorded it after meeting a group of fans at an airport who had brought stacks of home-printed items. He stressed that he does not mind fans turning up for photos and autographs; his complaint was with what they asked him to sign.

Bach said he is happy to meet fans and pose for pictures, and will sign official releases under his name such as records, CDs, magazines and posters. He will not sign anything printed at home, and above all nothing made with AI, which he said he hates with every fibre of his being and calls slop. Being handed such things to sign, he said, makes him feel sick, and anyone bringing them is wasting their time. His message was to bring things made by humans for humans; he added that other bands may do it, but he never will.

Metalheadzone says the video fits a position Bach has stated before. In an earlier statement he told fans who have followed him for nearly 40 years that he would never use AI in any way.

The outburst comes during a busy run with Twisted Sister. The band named Bach for select dates in March 2026 after Snider stepped down on February 5, citing health problems including degenerative arthritis. After an unofficial first show in New Jersey, the tour opened on September 4 in Palmer, Alaska, with eleven more autumn dates to come. Guitarists Jay Jay French and Eddie Ojeda welcomed him as an iconic vocalist and frontman when the arrangement was announced. Bach fronted Skid Row from 1987 to 1996, the era most of the items fans bring him come from.
