Bollywood star Salman Khan used his hosting slot on Bigg Boss 20 to condemn people who make fake AI videos and AI voice dubs, saying he has been depicted in such content himself. The comments followed an earlier on-air rant against online trolls.

He said AI had become frightening in what it can do, pointing to clips in which real remarks are edited so people appear to abuse others, and argued that trolling has simply moved harassment online.

Khan drew a line between viewers who share a clip without realising it is fake and the people who knowingly make it, saying the makers should be jailed and that the practice will not stop until a few are. He called for a law and for censorship of social media, and said people must be held accountable for what they create online.

He noted that celebrities can ask police cyber units to trace a video's creator, while ordinary people and their families often have no such help. He said such videos can do serious damage to those people and to their relatives, who have little recourse. The remarks came as he rebuked contestants for mocking each other's looks on the show, which streams on JioHotstar and airs on Colors TV.
