Deezer says fully AI-generated tracks now make up more than half of what is uploaded each day, close to 90,000. The figure was around 10,000 a day in January 2025, and its detector does not catch everything.
It found up to 85% of streams on such tracks in 2025 were fraudulent. It already keeps AI tracks out of recommendations and editorial playlists and demonetises fraud.
Now it will take down AI tracks used for fraud and those unplayed for six months. Deezer called for shared industry standards; Tidal has already demonetised AI audio outright.
