Castle Walls (Surlar in Turkish) is a Turkish historical drama of two episodes, each about 15 minutes long. It premiered on Prime Video on 12 August 2026. It was made by AI Yapım, the Singapore-based AI studio of Turkey's Ay Yapım, together with the creative technology company Hagia Labs. The writers are Kerem Deren and Çisil Hazal Tenim, who previously worked together on El Turco. Coverage links the setting to Alamut Castle as seen in Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed Mirage.
The pages say development took over a year, and that AI was used for idea development, storyboards and visual production. The team made hand-drawn sketches of characters and locations first, then ran them through the AI pipeline. The named tools are ChatGPT for prompt enhancement, Midjourney for visual exploration, Runway and Google's Nano Banana for character integration, Veo, Kling, ComfyUI and Topaz for video generation and finishing, plus an in-house AI storyboard system.
The studio's own model, AYDNA, is described as a video diffusion model trained on Ay Yapım's licensed archive. The first episode used shot-by-shot inpainting; the second used more advanced generative tools.
The pages state that the acting was not AI-generated and that human dubbing artists voiced it in several languages. The release was announced in October 2025. The coverage presents it as the first series created end to end with AI to launch on a major global streaming platform, which is the makers' positioning.
