AI Yapım
The AI-focused subsidiary of Ay Yapım, one of Turkey's biggest television production companies, based in Istanbul. It was set up to combine human imagination with AI in storytelling, in its own words.
Its first release is Castle Walls, billed as Turkey's first fully AI-generated series, which premiered on Prime Video on 12 August 2026 (announced in October 2025). It has three episodes of about 15 minutes, set in the 11th-century Alamut Castle under Hasan Sabbah. Kerem Deren and Çisil Hazal Tenim wrote the screenplay, and development took over a year, with support from the AI and creative technology firm Hagia Labs.
Press coverage says the studio built an in-house tool, AI Yapim Storyboard, and AYDNA 1.0, a video diffusion model trained on Ay Yapım's licensed archive. Reported tools also include ChatGPT, Midjourney, Runway, Google Nano Banana, Veo, Kling, ComfyUI and Topaz. The parent company was founded in 2005 by Kerem Çatay, who is its CEO.
