Try Me On a Better Day

Try Me On a Better Day is a single credited to JD Steel, released on 13 March 2026 with 10067505 Records DK on its rights line, a distributor's numbered placeholder. The act's YouTube upload sums it up in three lines: the singer is not mad, just tired, and tired is worse than mad. It is pitched at anyone who held it together all week and then met the wrong person at the wrong moment, in the dark country rap style the act uses across its catalogue. On Spotify it is the most played of the JD Steel singles in this batch. The recording runs 3 minutes 25 seconds. Deezer marks the release as AI-generated content, saying it includes tracks detected as generated with the use of AI.
