About this song
"Toxic Sunshine" is a gothic doom metal single by VantyX about forced positivity: the pressure to look fine, and the way pain gets polished until other people find it acceptable to look at. VantyX's own description lists slow, dragging doom riffs, heavy low end, industrial textures and raw female vocals. The official music video went up on the VantyX YouTube channel on 30 September 2026 and the single reached Spotify on 2 October, with 12711380 Records DK on its ℗ line. VantyX describes itself as a virtual artist project that uses AI-assisted music and visual tools, with the lyrics, concept and final creative decisions its own. The video had about 6,200 YouTube views by 4 October.
