Ride the Progression

"Ride the Progression" is a song by Kelly Boesch, first released as a single on 1 July 2026 by Gelsomina Studios under exclusive licence to Nettwerk Music Group, and later included on her release Everybody's Got Their Thing on Spotify. Boesch says it grew from memories of listening to jazz with her father and his friends, who talked about tracks in their own language of beat flips and solo choices. The lyrics borrow that vocabulary of intervals, blue notes and resolving bass lines as a picture of life: missteps happen, but leaning in usually gets you where you need to be. She wrote the lyrics and the music was made under her direction with help from Suno, with additional mixing by Marshall Altman; the video was animated with Pika keyframes.
