About this song
"Own Your Story" is a single by Kelly Boesch, released on 8 July 2026 by Gelsomina Studios under exclusive licence to Nettwerk Music Group. Boesch, who makes AI videos and songs, calls it a tribute to women who refuse to fade into the background, and credits her mother, friends and mentors with giving her the courage to make music and be seen. She made a dance video with costumes she came up with for it, and says matching the dancing to the music was the hard, fun part. She wrote the lyrics, the music was made under her direction with help from Suno, and Marshall Altman did additional mixing and mastering.
