I Don’t Answer Knocks Anymore

I Don’t Answer Knocks Anymore is a single credited to JD Steel, released on 23 January 2026 with 10067505 Records DK, a distributor's numbered placeholder, on its rights line. As its title says, the song is about a narrator who has stopped opening the door to people from his past, in the dark outlaw-country register the act works in. The release reached YouTube as an auto-generated Topic upload from DistroKid, which lists the same placeholder rights holder and a release date of 23 January 2026, and that upload has drawn far more views than the act's other January singles. The Spotify recording runs 3 minutes 6 seconds, and the YouTube Topic upload of the release is the same length. Deezer marks this release as AI-generated content, saying it includes tracks detected as generated with the use of AI.
