I Ain't Asking Permission

I Ain't Asking Permission is a single credited to JD Steel, released on 26 January 2026 with 10067505 Records DK, a distributor's numbered placeholder, on its rights line. The act's channel describes it as a declaration of independence for listeners who have stopped waiting for approval and mean to live by their own rules, built around a narrator who says he put his life together from nothing and owes nobody an explanation for it. The Spotify recording runs 3 minutes 44 seconds, and the upload on the act's channel is the same length. Deezer marks this release as AI-generated content, saying it includes tracks detected as generated with the use of AI.
