Gone But Not Forgotten

Gone But Not Forgotten is a country single by River Cain, a singer that Resemble AI's deepfake-detection site describes as an AI-generated country music persona. It came out on Spotify on 11 September 2026 as a one-track release credited to Storm Records, and runs just under three minutes. An official video went up on River Cain's YouTube channel the same day and had passed 28,000 views by 29 September; its description uses the song to promote River Cain's debut album, Hell Out Of Me, on CD, vinyl and download. That same month, Resemble AI published a case study on a fabricated video the persona had posted of itself being struck by a phone thrown from a crowd, which it treated as a deepfake made to drive engagement.
