Summary
About this song
Hell Or Highwater is a song by River Cain, a country act that Saving Country Music describes as entirely AI-generated and whose own bio calls it an "AI persona". It was released on Spotify on 4 September 2026 and posted the same day on River Cain's official YouTube channel, whose description promotes the act's debut album, Hell Out Of Me, on CD, vinyl and download. The release came as River Cain's social accounts were drawing wide engagement with fabricated concert clips; Saving Country Music reported in late September that videos posted on 2 and 18 September showed the persona being hit by a phone thrown from the audience, and that the act was doing well on Spotify, where it carried no AI label at the time.
