Biography
Nicholas Pople is an actor who leads The Last Screenwriter (2024), Peter Luisi's 72-minute Swiss feature whose screenplay is credited to ChatGPT 4.0. He plays Jack, a celebrated screenwriter who tries an advanced AI scriptwriting system, finds it matching his skill and perhaps reading emotion better than he does, and is then offered the chance to write a film with it alone. The film's cast came entirely from the UK, and it was released free online on 5 July 2024 after its planned London premiere was cancelled.
The British Comedy Guide lists him as Gary in the 2019 online production The Dump. TMDB credits him in five episodes of the series I Killed Solomon Reid (2019) and in films including Firefly (2023), Réservée and The Nautilus Mutiny.
