Two plaintiffs have quietly ended their cases against Suno. The New York duo The American Dollar withdrew its suit with prejudice, so it cannot be refiled, while Winamp-owned Jamendo withdrew without prejudice.
Neither notice gave a reason, and both suits had recently been amended. The duo had claimed Suno trained on 236 of its recordings and compositions; its lawyer declined to comment, and no other party replied in time.
Suno still faces other suits, including the one from Universal and Sony, where discovery talks continue, and a separate class action.
