Australian soap Neighbours is being reissued as short vertical video for phones, Digital Spy reports, citing Variety. The episodes will stream on epis, RoseBerry Media's mobile-first service, starting with Margot Robbie's run as Donna Freedman from 2008 to 2011, before she became a Hollywood star.
Two of Donna's storylines will become about 150 minutes of micro-episodes, made with RedSnapper, RoseBerry's AI tool for turning film and TV into vertical series. CEO Guy Hameiri called Neighbours a landmark of television and exactly the kind of premium IP he believes works in vertical form, and said it is the tool's first use on a long-running soap.
Fremantle's Jens Richter said the deal shows how old TV libraries can find new viewers and new revenue. He described it as an example of technology unlocking fresh value from a catalogue. The soap ended in December 2025, and classic episodes remain on Prime Video and YouTube.
