Luke Bryan has rejected claims that his summer single "Fish Hunt Golf Drink" was written with AI.
Listeners on social media had seized on the song's list-like lyrics as evidence of a machine. Asked about it at the Memorial Pro-Am golf event, during his Word on the Street tour, Bryan blamed trolls and called the claim completely false.
He says the song came from his own habits on days off, which is exactly what it describes, so it could hardly have come from AI, and admits the backlash surprised him. He is one of several singers to face the accusation and says he is focusing on the fans who like the track, while the outlet notes the argument may only earn it more plays.
