Synopsis
Maximo leaves Argentina for Italy to look for someone from his past. Before he can get the answers he came for, an unexpected turn takes him into the Royal Palace, where he ends up working close to the royal family.
There a bond slowly grows between Maximo and Princess Sabrina, a love neither of them planned. Caught between duty and affection, Maximo builds walls around feelings he believes he should not allow, while his search for the truth pulls him deeper into the mystery around Francesco. His closeness to the Princess meets the disapproval of King Emanuele.
When Maximo finally lets himself give her his heart, he finds he is also ready to give his life to protect the people he loves. The story is a slow-burn romance between a bodyguard and a princess, set in an alternate present-day Italy where the monarchy still exists, with loyalty, family and a secret from the past running underneath.
