iQIYI

A Beijing-based streaming platform that produces, co-produces and distributes films and television series, with an international service, iQIYI International (iq.com), run from Singapore.

It was founded on 6 January 2010 by Baidu, which took full control in November 2012, and listed on Nasdaq (IQ) on 29 March 2018. Wikipedia gives 101.4 million paid subscribers as of Q3 2022 and describes originals across China, Korea and Southeast Asia.

In AI filmmaking it launched the Peter Pau x iQIYI AI Theater for short-form content in 2025. In July 2026 it co-produced and exclusively premiered Mystic Tales: The Spider Lady's Vendetta with Beijing Dream Big Innovation Technology, described in its press release as China's first long-form AIGC feature to receive an official Internet Drama and Film Distribution License. It also announced a time-limited 20% extra revenue-share bonus for qualified AI content.
