iQIYI released a trailer on 23 September for Immortals Over Mortal Love, which the Chinese streamer calls its first full-length, multi-season drama to combine generative AI with live-action performances by professional actors, according to a company announcement carried on The Manila Times newswire.
The company says the series will run to three seasons. The first, due in the fourth quarter of 2026, has 16 episodes of roughly 20 minutes each and will air while later episodes are still going through review. The trailer is available on both iQIYI and its international service, iQ. The whole series is being made on NadouPro, iQIYI's in-house production platform, which it says runs on both public and self-hosted large models.
Chief executive Yu Gong presented the show as a turning point for the company and the wider industry, claiming better production efficiency and lower costs without dropping professional standards. Those are iQIYI's own claims; the announcement gives no budget or figures to back them.
iQIYI is also pitching NadouPro as a marketplace as much as a tool, having added exchanges for talent, commissions, digital assets and scripts. By its count, the platform now offers creators more than 1,600 digital assets, 150 voice assets and 6,600 IP titles to build on.
