About this song
"Waking from a Dream" is a single by Kelly Boesch, released on 25 March 2026 by Gelsomina Studios under exclusive licence to Nettwerk Music Group. Boesch, who makes AI videos and songs, describes it as being about outgrowing a life that feels too small and the frightening push to break out of it, shedding an old skin as a muted world turns to colour. She says the accompanying surreal scenes are a reminder to stop and take in the beauty around us, and explore the pull between wanting to feel fully and the difficulty of letting one's guard down. She wrote the lyrics, and the music was made under her direction with help from Suno.
