About this song
"Salt on the Tide" is a single by Kelly Boesch, the visual artist who makes AI videos and the songs that go with them, released on 19 February 2026 by Gelsomina Studios under exclusive licence to Nettwerk Music Group. Boesch says the song grew out of island-themed images she was making in Midjourney, full of flamingos and odd flamingo-headed figures, and that she wanted the music to carry the same soft, calm and warm island mood. She wrote the lyrics, and the music was made under her direction with help from Suno. Its video on her YouTube channel, built from those dreamy scenes, is one of her most watched of the year.
