About this song
"Pounds Hollow" is the debut single of Amy Slaton, the 1,000-Lb. Sisters star, released on Spotify on 18 September 2026 under the artist name Amy, with her own name on the ℗ line. Her Spotify profile presents it as Southern storytelling mixing country and rap, drawn from the places, people and memories that shaped her. Reality Tea, writing in August 2026 about a preview of the show's eleventh season, called the single AI-generated and said her brother Chris Combs mocked her use of AI on the track, to which she replied that she had still made it. She described taking it from an idea through the music, filming and editing, with her five-year-old son Gage named co-director of the video, which she posted on her YouTube channel on 26 August. The Spotify recording runs 2 minutes 41 seconds. On 3 October 2026 it showed 84,302 Spotify plays and the video had 657,816 views. Her Spotify profile closes with the line "I ain't AI—I'm AMY".
