I Almost Quit Too

I Almost Quit Too is a JD Steel single released on 17 August 2026, running 4 minutes 23 seconds. Filed by the act as dark country trap, it is built on the idea that every good thing the narrator now has arrived after he nearly turned back, and it is pitched at listeners who are close to giving up themselves; the YouTube upload points them to the US 988 crisis line. The video had passed 10,000 views by the end of September 2026. Deezer tags the release as AI-generated content, detected as made with the use of AI. It came out on the same day as I Was Dying to Feel Better, self-released through DistroKid with no label named.
