Her makers have never presented her as a person. When Concept Communication launched Avtr Meta Labs in October 2022, its announcement introduced Naina as "a 20-year Digital Avatar" and the company's first, with a made-up backstory as a small-town girl from Jhansi. Her own Instagram calls her "India's First AI Superstar", and She The People counts her among India's pioneering AI-generated influencers. The operator's launch release is the strongest evidence, because it comes from the people who run her.
What is less clear is how each post is made. A Click Analytic explainer says she is built with CGI and AI tools, and lists voice synthesis and "animation or mocap" in the process, but it is a marketing blog, not an interview, and it names no voice actor or body double. No page read names a human who performs, voices or models for her, so she is not a hybrid on this evidence.
Still unknown: whether a person's movement or voice is used under the avatar in videos such as the 2025 micro-drama Truth & Lies, and which tools the studio uses. The company's own site is parked, so there is no first-hand account of the process.
