ZELU House's own page for Mia calls her "an original, AI-generated digital character, developed and managed by ZELU House", and its homepage says the same of her and her on-screen siblings Ana and Luka Zelu, adding that production and licensing run through ZELU UG in Germany. The studio even sells her on the basis that her availability depends on a licence, not on travel, studio days or talent schedules.
Independent reporting agrees. When her Wimbledon posts went viral in July 2025, tennis.com reported that she never attended and is "not even a real person", that her whole account was created with artificial intelligence, and that her Instagram bio disclosed this only behind a "Read More" button. At the time the outlet said the people behind the Zelu accounts were anonymous. The studio has since named itself, so the two accounts fit together rather than conflict.
What is still unknown: no page names the individuals at ZELU House who make her images, and none says how the vocals on her EP Endless Summer and singles such as Bare Feet are produced, or whether a human singer is involved. No page names a human model, performer or voice behind her.
