Eldruna

Eldruna is a Nordic folk and Viking music project from Austria, presented as a dark, smoky-voiced Norse singer who fronts war-drum anthems about wolves, oaths and the sea. Her label Nordwald Records credits the voice to "Tilda Skadi" and says the project is written and produced by Michael Fuchs in Austria. Her own site describes the sound as "Viking folk on 808s", with tagelharpa, jaw harp and throat singing over modern beats.

Eldruna is an AI act. Spotify labels the artist page "AI Persona", and the project says itself that every song and video is "crafted with digital tools under human direction". Her YouTube channel calls the process a hybrid one, combining human direction, composition, editing and curation with selected AI-assisted tools. No page reviewed names a human singer, and none says which AI models make the voice, so how the vocals are produced is unconfirmed.

The Spotify discography begins with the album Mørke, released on 4 February 2026 on IntraLabs, followed in 2026 by Ulvens Pagt in March, Wellerman in April, Valhalleluja in May, Kebebasan, The Good. and The Bad. in May and June, Drunken Viking in June and Uppsala in August. Her site lists a new single, Skrik, from 14 August 2026, sung in Norwegian. Most later releases carry a Nordwald copyright line; the earliest albums carry IntraLabs. The YouTube channel opened on 25 February 2026 and passed 100,000 subscribers on 18 September 2026, according to the milestones in its own description.

Her biggest songs on Spotify are Scar (about 4.4 million plays), Wellerman (about 3.1 million) and Brother Hold Me (about 2.1 million), read on 15 October 2026. She also covers existing songs, such as Wellerman, and sings in several languages including English, Norwegian and Indonesian-titled releases such as Kebebasan. Her site markets merchandise, a newsletter, a browser game called Shieldwall and a companion act, Domsgard, on the same label.

On 15 October 2026 Spotify showed 506,797 monthly listeners. Her Instagram has about 215,600 followers, her Facebook page about 630,000 and her YouTube channel about 187,000 subscribers with more than 65 million views, and YouTube Music shows about 7.2 million monthly listeners for the channel. Third-party fact-check blogs also call the project AI-generated or AI-assisted, but they are low-quality sources and were not relied on here.
