Zak, Zelda and Cody Williams have reactivated their father's Instagram account, silent since his death in 2014, to give fans a verified home for real clips and photos of Robin Williams in the year he would have turned 75.
Zelda said on her own account that the move is a way to counter the widespread AI misuse of his voice and face, admitting it may do little against the volume but that the family is trying.
It follows her October 2025 plea for people to stop sending her AI videos of him. TheWrap notes that AI clips of dead celebrities have multiplied, with Williams a frequent subject.
In a joint post, the three siblings said they want the page to share his work and humour with care and authenticity, for younger viewers finding his films for the first time as well as longtime fans. Zelda apologised to anyone unsettled by seeing the old account posting again.
