The Cully Hill Boys, a 110-minute AI-generated crime comedy about three East London rappers, premiered in New York on 5 August and is now free to watch, with Higgsfield publishing every prompt and asset used to make it. Bottle Rocket's read is that the film matters less than the deal structure around it. After criticism of an earlier feature that used no licensed likenesses, Higgsfield paid for the digital personas of Israel Adesanya, Rampage Jackson, N3on and Matt Kiatipis and says it deleted the source material afterwards. The screenwriter, a non-guild writer whose script had been a competition finalist, was paid at roughly WGA scale for AI adaptation rights. A 28-person team, including nine directors, assembled the film in four weeks as a showcase for the company's Cinema Studio platform ahead of studio pitches.
