Gangwon's Goseong County will host a first AI Music Festival inside its annual pollack festival from 2 to 5 October, Gukje News reports. Visitors pick a theme, write lyrics with AI help and choose a genre and mood to finish a song, with staff guiding people of any age. It is free.
The event is run by Metamagic and tied to the AI music platform AMeON. Its chief, Ham Hyun-jin, says ordinary people will soon turn their own stories into songs; a local culture foundation official said visitors can make songs to give to family and friends.
With consent, songs may appear on county AI music channels, but commercial use depends on each AI service's terms and copyright.
