Ozzy Fox, a preschool show developed by Disney Jr. and French studio Animaj, put its first two episodes on YouTube and YouTube Kids this week with no press release. They neared 800,000 views in two days.
The show, about a five-year-old fox who turns routines like tidying and potty training into games, was created by Jennifer Oxley and developed by Pocoyo co-creator Guillermo García Carsí.
Animaj markets an AI-assisted pipeline for posing and in-betweening that it says cuts time and cost. Disney already works with it through Lumee, the kids' YouTube ad venture with Hasbro. Animaj uses that pipeline on Pocoyo and Maya the Bee. Neither company has said what role AI played in Ozzy Fox; the outlet notes Netflix named only three of its roughly 300 AI-assisted titles a day earlier.
