Primordial Soup, the AI-focused studio run by Darren Aronofsky, is seeking $15 million in equity, according to an SEC filing made in mid-July.
The filing names Aronofsky and producing partner Dylan Golden as executive officers and shows about $11 million already sold, leaving roughly $4 million to raise.
The venture began last year with a Google DeepMind partnership to make short films, and Aronofsky has cast AI as the latest in a line of technologies, like sound and colour, that changed how films get made.
