Shenhua Shigu, a commercial animated feature made with AI assistance at every stage, has wrapped, co-producer Mininglamp Technology says. It was first announced under a longer title about an emergency office for mythical mishaps. Yuehe Culture and Zhangyue Technology made it on Zhangyue's Paoman platform; it is registered with China's film regulator.
Mininglamp says it put 33 AI agents beside a human crew of a few dozen: agents drafted story notes, read art direction, proposed shots and briefed crew on scenes for the director, who fed ideas in through Mininglamp's own recording device. Discussions were saved as shared, reusable know-how.
To tame random output, the team used repeated art passes, hand-painted mood keys, an on-set architect, hand-drawn storyboards and locked camera settings. Director Wang Dan comes from live action. Chemical Industry Press will publish the method.
